Agust\u00ed Villaronga adapta y dirige esta nueva producci\u00f3n teatral basada en la obra La casa dels noms, de Colm T\u00f3ib\u00edn. En este libro, el autor humaniza  Clitemnestra, un personaje cabal de la literatura cl\u00e1sica griega, tal como hizo con La Mare de D\u00e9u en El Testament de Maria ( que pudimos ver en el Teatre Principal el 2015).
Hay que recordar que Clitemnestra fue esposa de Agamemnon y madre de tres hijos: Electra, Ifigenia y Orestes. Como ofrenda a los dioses, la joven Ifigenia fue sacrificada por su propio padre, Agamnon. Y Clitemnestra veng\u00f3 esta muerte, con la ayuda de su amante, Egist.<\/p>\n

En su conjunto, la tradici\u00f3n occidental nos ha mostrado una Clitemnestra como la representaci\u00f3n de la maldad: infiel, cruel, asesina, embaucadora y mala madre. A trav\u00e9s de ella se construy\u00f3 un mensaje mis\u00f3gino que plasm\u00f3 en La Orest\u00edada de Esquil, se transmiti\u00f3 a Eur\u00edpides y S\u00f3focles \u2013 sus contempor\u00e1neos- y se consolid\u00f3 en el siglo XVII con las tragedias francesas de Racine. T\u00f3ib\u00edn, prescindiendo de la tradici\u00f3n, aporta una nueva sensibilidad para que este dolor que nos transmite Clitemnestra, que nos llega de lejos, sea vivo, m\u00e1s pr\u00f3ximo y m\u00e1s indulgente.
